Privacy Policy
Privacy and service terms for the BoardingReady record-management service.
1. Who operates BoardingReady
BoardingReady is the trading name used for this service. BoardingReady is responsible for account administration, service operation, security and direct customer communications.
2. Customers’ role
Home boarding businesses decide what owner, dog, booking and care information they enter. Those businesses are responsible for having an appropriate lawful basis for the information they collect and use. BoardingReady processes stored customer records to provide the service.
3. Information we process
- Account email and authentication information
- Business profile and licence information
- Owner and emergency-contact information entered by customers
- Dog profiles, health records and uploaded documents
- Bookings and consent responses
- Daily care, medication and incident records
- Security, technical and service-usage information
- Optional website analytics information when you allow analytics cookies
- Support communications
4. How information is used
To provide and secure the service, save and display records, generate secure consent links, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, meet legal obligations, send important service communications and, where you allow analytics cookies, understand how public website pages are used.
5. Lawful bases
Depending on the processing, relevant bases may include contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent where specifically requested.
6. Secure consent links
Customers choose when to share a consent link. A valid link provides access only to that specific consent form. Customers are responsible for sharing links with the intended recipient.
7. Service providers
Information may be processed by trusted hosting, database, storage, security, monitoring, email and payment providers used to operate BoardingReady. Google Analytics is used on the public website only after analytics consent is given. Current service providers and material processing arrangements are identified in the published privacy information as they are connected.
8. International processing
Service providers may process information in other countries. Appropriate safeguards will be used where legally required.
9. Retention
Account and customer-created records are retained according to service, security and legal needs. Customers remain responsible for their own licensing and record-retention obligations. The service is designed to support historical record retention rather than silently deleting inactive records.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet service can promise perfect security. Customers must protect their passwords and any consent links they choose to share.
11. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
12. Children
BoardingReady accounts are intended for business users aged 18 or over.
13. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and service providers change. The published version will show its revision date.
